About me

I have more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry. My passion for technology began as early as the late 1980s: I built my own computer systems, operated FidoNet mailboxes, and developed some of the first websites when the Internet was still in its infancy.

I began my career in the early 1990s as a network specialist for Novell systems at a small IT company. In the mid-90s, I moved to CompuNet (now ComputaCenter), where I supported numerous clients on projects related to server operations, IT migrations, and automation.

From 1996 to 2020, I worked for a DAX 40 financial services company in Frankfurt, holding various management positions in the information technology department.

I’ve been in early retirement since January 2021—but of course, I can’t do without IT entirely. I’ve been running my own part-time business since 2003. My focus is on reliable, personalized web hosting for small businesses, freelancers, and the self-employed.

I am committed to pragmatic solutions, direct communication, and technical expertise—and I look forward to supporting your project as well.
